Think I might have wheeled more than you lately. Prius on the way home from Moab was like driving Dave's 92 from last year. The 2 has more power when it's driveable.
The weather report is for 3"to 6" of snow overnight and that is in Big Bear City at 6,500 ft. There could be more up at the top of the trail at 8,000 ft. I think we need to be cautious and see what traction is like. Snow and steep trails are a dangerous combination. I think the snow will be turning to slush, so traction should be okay.

I agree. We will start the trail and play it by ear. If it's not safe fire roads can be fun in snow...see you all tomorrow!
Portager thanks for posting the weather. When I checked it last week the weather was perfect. I would of never known. I'm much happier in a cabin. It's windy and cold.
Just waiting for my brother he's almost here. Just called me and said the fog is horrific. No snow yet

Were off the trail. Gold mountain was fun. Lots of difficulties with mud/snow. Afterwords we were playing on fire roads and I killed another sidewall. 3rd duratrac sidewall.
May try JB in the snow/mud tomorrow should be interesting
