Performance, HP and MPG upgrades

Got the super sparks and the Pulstar Spark Plugs ordered. We'll see what they can do for my truck. Thanks for all the info guy's

Post up info on how it runs ASAP, I'm thinking of ording the super sparks and the Pulstar Spark Plugs if you guys say it's worth it. I removed my TBS today and my MPG went from 11mpg to 13. I hope to make 16 mpg!!!!

Oh that's nothing, there's a hell of A LOT more info it gives you like 0-60, quarter mile and info on how to better you MPG. Best part is it reads codes and earse them and everything is saved on a mini SD card. They go for $150 now and I really love my Bully dog!!

Hope I dont sound too stupid here, but what is a TBS? Does yours have the I5 or V8? And yes please tell where you can get one of them for $150?

TBS stands for throttle body spacer.

Hey Ron, how long did it take to get your super sparks in. Been waiting a week and haven't heard from the guy since the initial contact with him.
Hopefully they show up before the uber expensive plugs I bought :huh:

It took me about a week to receive them. I called him when I placed the order so, within a couple hours he sent out my package and emailed me a tracking number too.

Sorry about that the cheapest I found was $216 but its still better then the $275 I paid.

Ok thanks Solidusj, and If you are talking about the watchdog, it is very easy. Underneath your dash on the driver side is an OBDII port that you just plug it into and your done.

The 0-60 times and the quarter mile timer all get save on the micro SD card that comes with the which dog. You can plug the data to a laptop and see your tran shift point, HP and torque and type of great info!!!!

You are gonna be real happy when your PCM recalibrates itself to the Pulstar's particular firing characteristics (for a lack of a better term)..the Performance will really improve..I put Pulstars in at the same time I installed my retuned PCM and about a week later of driving..when I thought it couldn't get any better, the second level of performance kicked in..and my God what a difference!..Wow!..I drove a stock Alpha the other day and honestly, I think I have as good if not better performance than that V8...I mean, it is a real in the seat of the pants noticable improvement in zip.

Well I'll have to look into the PCM tune cuz I don't have it just yet but I'm loving it so far, it gets up and goes! And when I was doing that I cleaned my throttle body as well so it's a happy H3

I have the 40 flow master and my tail pipe is not even 14" and I cant even tell I have it when it comes to the sound. Anytime you up grade the intake to let in more air, you have to push it out just as fast and with the stock pig roster you have down there it won't get the job done. If your looking for louder I don't think flow master is the way to go, I'm looking into mange flow right now to have a louder system.

I was looking into making a whole custom exhaust my self. I wanted to remove the resonator, and stock muffler, replace the cats with hi flow cats, and then do an inline flow master where the resonator is.

The super sparkz are $35 shipped and I believe the pulstars are around $12 a piece.

Thanks for the info.. It seems as if these do a awesome job, I am just concerned about them causing any ill effects.. I heard someone say they had them and took them out.. Dont know enough about it myself, just wanna make sure.
