Yeah, I've been looking for one since I first got my H3 and lucked out last Friday when I jumped on flea-bay... Figured that it fit a little better than a rusty, old 20mm ammo box. :giggle:

The specs that I know are 16x8.5 (Should still fit my Grabbers) with a 4.5 backspacing (I think) and +18 offset...

Not sure a +18mm offset equates to 4.5" backspacing...???

A "+" on the offset means the rubber sits inboard of the wheel centerline. If you want Rancho compatible wheels, they are most always "-" offset (to shift the rubber outboard of the centerline). For example: My 17"x9"s have -11mm offset and barely clear the Rancho knuckles. I can tell by your photos, that these wheels are tucked nicely up inside the wheelwells. Rancho wheels are easy to spot because they stick out quite far, and fling goo all over the sides of the truck. Its not a huge deal and those wheels look great regardless. But, you might want to throw a tape on them and verify the backspacing before you drop coin on a Rancho.

...And that is a great looking front bumper!

Haha, yeah thanks CJ.
Whoever designed/made the bumper took alot of pride in his product. Yeah the wheels do still stick out but not nearly as far as my MB Vortex wheels did... About a quarter of an inch in the rear and a bit less up front. (Still fling gunk everywhere, just not AS much) Just wanted something a little less flashy. And the rancho lift is a little too big of a dream for my broke ace. Right now I'm too busy saving up for a much needed tune-up because it's having a heck of a time trying to keep up with traffic. (Already cleaned TB and MAF as well as new Spark Plugs...)

Got bored on this Sunny, 40 degrees Monday and changed things up a bit, plus ran my winch to get the cobwebs out from not using it this winter season (Gotta get ready for Bundy Hill in a couple months) :horns:Also tilted my winch control box forward on it's mount soo I can get to it easier without having to unbolt it or take the grille off... :)

You might try a PCM tune to restore some of the power the big tires robbed. I found that 35"s really mess with the shift points and the truck struggles at highway speeds. The tune helps. It's not a huge increase in power but, the truck feels more drive able...especially right off idle.

I agree with 4speedfunk. The tune makes the truck hold on to gear longer and shift later, which gives you the impression the truck is more powerful (since you spend more time driving in lower gears)
It also removes the torque management that restricts the power at WOT during takeoff, thus making make torque available at the low rpms.

Yeah, I've got a tune programmed in it from PCM of NC... Do those tunes go bad after a while with higher mileage/after disconnecting battery multiple times to work on stuff? I've thought that maybe the tune/computer might be confused and trying to do what it can to go... But it is SLOW now, literally takes me about 3/4 to a full mile, going in a straight line, to get up to 55 from a dead stop at half throttle... Also barely averaging 13.5 mpgs, sometimes even 12... Soo maybe PCM, that or it's old age/tuckered out because of the small 3.5l being kinda weak...

Hey all, just thought that I'd throw up an update on how my rig is doing since I posted up a thread about the rear suspension acting up...

Seems like my H3 is doing better/ actually absorbing bumps in the road... I've noticed that since it's been warming up, (about 50 degrees during the day and soon to get warmer) the shocks have started to "work" now... (Guess they just needed to break in/get some mileage on em', but the freezing/negative temperatures had delayed the break in period...) Also seems to be running/driving better as well now that the temperatures have went up to enjoyable levels. (Still plan on getting a tranny flush, power steering fluid change, as well as flush the differential at the next oil change) Also gunna get my Extended Bumpstops finally installed plus get new brake pads all around, soo that I won't have the jackhammer bounce in the front end when coming to a stop anymore. PLUS new battery terminals... But just thought that I'd let everybody who's helped me with the issues know how Razorback is doing.

Happy wheeling all

Cleans up pretty decent after a little Turtle Wax... (Still see streaks but I'm just too lazy to go to town on it... :giggle:)

I know that it's not the greatest thing in the world but I had to get something done... After having my negative terminal coming off the post 5 times while driving (which was an experience), I limped it home after an Advance Auto visit and tore into it... Scared me to death cutting the terminal off but now it's tight and running like a top... even was able to keep my winch working with the bolt adapter... The part of the old terminal that contacts the post was bent beyond repair and wouldn't tighten down...

Mine did something similar, I had to replace the connectors a few years ago.

Not surprised to hear your shocks are playing nice in the warmer weather. Some just don't flow as well in the cold, and feel a bit more stiff.

Yeah, the old terminal decided to flip me the bird after I undid it to clean my throttle body... And yeah the shocks were installed during the negative temperatures that we were experiencing so I'm guessing that the stuff inside of em' wasn't able to properly "break in"... But now that I've got extended bump stops and new brakes on all 4 corners the thing is driving surprisingly like a caddy... (Well a caddy with offroad shocks and 35's) Now my only issue is a strange vibration when driving between 45-60? Not sure whether it's the drive shaft getting ready to say "adios amigo" or if my tires are out of balance since I dropped to 30 psi because the ride was way to stiff and bone jarring when it was higher... (Might try going up to 35 psi to see if that calms the vibrating down...)

These things are heavy when working by yourself and the bolts are a major pain when you have 9 years worth of Michigan/Ohio rust...

FINALLY done, a few of the bolts wouldn't go all the way in but they are secure/rock solid.

Got a new update... Thanks to this awesome forum/community, I was able to snag a set of G2 Light bar mounts from the infamous Solidus! :horns: Now I just need a light bar... :giggle: Shockingly got it level as well.

Right now it looks like it has little devil horns.

*Future plans/final things before I'm legitimately done modding because I'm completely broke include getting the light bar for the G2's and getting a Viair 450P air compressor. :)

Can't believe I was able to pull this off by myself... :whaa:

attachment.php
Not the prettiest wiring job but it gets the job done... plus I now have a place to run my future portable air compressor. (Front terminal bolts)

attachment.php
The perfect spot, Hardest part was actually getting the wires ran inside the cab.

attachment.php
After about a year and a half of just for looks, they look pretty good now.

Compressor is piece of cake. I mounted mine where the stock muffler used to be:
1011630_10152048552576896_61180514_n.jpg

For power, I tapped the trailer harness. There is a full-time 12V already there. I ran a line back to operate a relay for control from the cockpit.

Did a few recent things to change up my H3.

1.) Reinstalled and completely bedlined my grille guard.
attachment.php

2.) Got a Hi Lift jack as well as a Viair 400P air compressor

3.) Bedlined my front skid plate with the H3 logo on it as well as my side mirrors and door handles.

attachment.php

4.) Got a 15" shorty radio antenna.

5.) Bashed my transfer case skid plate and scraped up the cross member yesterday at Bundy Hill Offroad park.
