Hey guys, just thought that I'd post up with everything that I have done so far with my Hummer and where all my money went. :giggle: (Sorry for soo many driveway pics... haven't really taken it offroad except to bomb down local dirt roads...)

This was what it looked like the week before I sold my mustang and bought it off my parents for $6,000.

Had chrome everywhere (MY EYES!!! :whaa but still looked good with just around 111,000 miles on it.

Now on to the mods, I had a general idea of where I wanted to take my Hummer, Make a roadside emergency/survival machine with everything needed to get me back on the road myself but also look good and different and I think that I nailed it pretty well.

First order of business was new wheels, I loved the chrome stocks that came on it from the factory but Michigan winters and salt had done a real number on em', soo off with the old and on with the new 16x8 MB Kronk wheels.

Really liked these wheels, red and black always go good together and this was no exception.

Next up on the list of mods was a used brush guard and step removal.

Always supporting my Arkansas Razorbacks!

Also added some side marker guards as well as tail light guards to help aid in my concrete jungle survival theme.

Had to give my hummer a voice soo a Gibson dual exhaust was next on the board as well as an airdoc intake and Pioneer Navigation system with backup camera... (Sorry, no pictures yet...)

After that, my modding kinda dried up till one day I looked at my tires and thought "Wow, have I really been driving around with that small of a tire..." soo off with the old 265/75's and on with the new 285/75 General Grabber at2's.

Got bored one day and had some KC lights sitting around so on they went. (Not wired...)

Next up was a bedlined grille... needed it due to kids around the nieghborhood keying my chrome grille (still have it, but also went and got a replacement grille.

After that I was really starting to get tired of the "butt in the air" stance, soo a t-bar crank and Procomp es9000 shocks were added.

Then the recall happened on my wheels... Liquid Metal, the company that oversaw the production of the Kronk wheels had noticed that cracking would develop, resulting in constant airloss, (which I was experiencing) and was promptly recalling them back for complete replacement... (Can no longer find these wheels...) Soo off with the MB Kronks and on with the MB Vortex wheels which I absolutely love.

After many months of bouncing around the idea, I finally pulled the trigger on a set of 315/75 General Grabber at2's and absolutely love em' (Even with the mpg loss, but it's a hummer soo I don't care.) :wink:

Had to take the front mud flaps off due to rubbing issues because of the wheels backspacing, (Still rubs a little at full clock :wink

Thought that I'd try my luck at plastidip... seems to be holding up well, even when covered with mud.

Also thought that I'd try some dip on my brushguard to break up all that shine... Turned out pretty good and is still holding up fairly well.

My more recent mods, a CB antenna mounted on a RocDoc mounting bracket as well as my Horse Power and rep adding H4O stickers. (Thank you alrock) :cheers:

And this is how she sits as of today... (1 year of ownership) Don't have much else planned for it... (LIES!!! :giggle Just need a PCM reflash, forgot to mention I had my PCM tuned by PCM of NC, and general upkeep... rolling on 150,300 miles and still soldiering on... Got a few little misc. thing to post when I get a chance to take more pictures... but let me know what you guys think.

I'm curious, though, I thought razorbacks were in Arkansas and those needing a razor'd back were in NJ?

My friend's son is a 3 year starting outfielder - will be a senior - for the Razorback baseball team. Good kid and ballplayer and a heck of a solid baseball program. Arkansas had 6 players drafted in the MLB June draft.

Haha thanks SuperBuickGuy. That's awesome Bigunit that you know someone from the Razorback baseball team... and yeah, I'm originally from SE Kansas, right on the 4 corners border of Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas and Oklahoma. "Woooooooooo, Pig ! Sooie!"

Got a few more pictures of random stuff...

Have a Pioneer Avic-850bt touchscreen navigation with bluetooth and hands-free phone

A simple but nice to have Daystar Dash tray/organizer

Found a blind spot mirror soo for kicks and giggles I installed it on the drivers side. (Really cool being able to see my back tire as well as how much my suspension moves up and down)

And finally, My emergency supplies as well as tools. The box is from the Vietnam War and built to hold 20mm rounds, now it's holding my First Aid Kit, 1 gallon of water and an emergency Jump Starter. Also got a 5 gallon fuel jug (Empty), and a road side emergency kit in the passenger side storage bin.

Still need to get a matching 315/75 General Grabber at2 spare.
