Why H4O is the best forum around...

We all know H4O is a great site. The forum provides lots of info and most important the people are great. But why is this the best 4x4 site around? I will tell you

I have been on lots of 4x4 forums, jeep forums, land rover forums, bronco forums, hummer forums, etc. I do alot of research on other rigs to get ideas and to help out buddies with other 4x4's. What I have noticed on here compared to there is the friendliness. The other day a member sold his H1 and we all welcomed him to stay on this forum, wheel with us and even start a build thread because we are interested. Later in the afternoon I hopped on a JK forum to look something up for my brother and saw multiple guys telling a member to GTFO their forum because he sold his JK for a dodge ram.

Another example, I joined another forum and got made fun of for wheeling an H3. An FJ joined here and we welcomed him.

The list goes on but I just wanted to shout out to all of you how great our forum really is. Thanks to alrock, moderators, and members!

Ill be around as long as H4O is around.

I agree I like visiting a forum where people are courteous to other people. Nobody here has to bring other people down to make themselves look bigger.

We are a Hummer forum. We are an offroading forum. We are a social forum. We are a land use forum. We are an enthusiast forum. Most of us Hummer owners started in something else. ( Jeeps, Broncos, Blazers, Yotas, Discos, etc ) Some of us currently own multiple brands. Some people have had Hummers, sold them for other trucks and then come back to Hummers, some haven't. If you are a responsible offroad enthusiast that enjoys the lifestyle and respects the trails and other members you will be welcome here regardless of what you drive. While primarily a Hummer forum all are welcome. I don't track it but a large percentage of the SoCal runs have vehicles of different makes along. Many of the Moab runs have Jeeps, Yotas, etc along. H1 PsychoSquad hosted the All-Call FJ Cruiser event at Psycho Ranch. The brand freaks are the losers. I have met some great wheelers, land use advocates and friends that wheel other brands. It would have been my loss to be a brand snob.
People make any group or forum what it is. This is a great forum because it has great members. We all set the tone for the entire forum. Hats off to all of you!

The goal is an environment where individuals are treated with kindness, dignity and respect. Between all of us we have shared opinions and divergent opinions and there is room for both here. We're far from flawless here but I think we've done a good job learning from our mistakes too. I'm glad y'all are enjoying this place.

H4O is the proverbial phoenix that has risen from the ashes of a once-great forum that was destroyed. I think that, because of this, this forum will always be a place where the core members will welcome all and remain civil. H4O is a developing into a great forum, and it will continue to grow, undoubtedly, for as long as it is around. I'm thankful that there are so many dedicated staff members and general community members to make this work. We're in good shape for a long time to come. I've got at least another 70 years in me!

I agree, it really makes you wonder if parts will be an issue for reconditioning/ rebuilding, etc.

Hmmm, I would say by then most of the hummers would be a trail buggy and not a daily driver/weekend warrior
A frame off resto would be a great place to start!

This thread seems to have somehow veered slightly off course.

Somehow we went from talking about H4O to postulating the support issues of 70 year old Hummers. When my H3T turns 70, I’ll be 122. I doubt I’ll even care about the paint.
