To think that I used to do that for fun but with no external Hollywood help. Too bad reality TV didn't exist back then

In the "olddays" I shot double track magnetic strip sound film in the super 8 mm format of all our 4wheel outings. The good stuff I transferred to 16mm in post production. I managed to copy some of it to video using a five blade shutter projector and a video camera that would sync to that speed.
We did lots of muddin and late night getting home trips but had a blast.
Some of it looked like those guys forging ahead hell or high water.
We did spend one night to wait for a river to drop before attempting it.
Why? lol
