Tonight one car too far

There is a show on Discovery tonight at 8 central about the travels in a jeep.
I just caught part of the commercial for it but they were driving thru all kinds of terrain.
Might be a good watch.
Recon will probably have flash backs!

Oh man, what happened to matches or fire stick? (ok read the shakedown) Good way to fry a battery and they only have one.
I mean if you are desperate ok but walking did not seem like an option.
What happened to scouting thru dense foliage before charging ahead.
This is starting to remind me of DIY disaster projects............
I had to look up the setup for this online to see what the.......
and love this line,

Ok just me but in the past on a river crossing I always thought it was a good idea for somebody to pull cable across first, you know in case?
Saved me once.

I watched Billy fight the steering wheel tonight. I think we scared him off after the one Moab trip.

After watching this show. My next mods include: Vaseline, & a rubber glove (JK). But I see how a winch can be a game changer in getting out of a predicament.

I've got it on DVR as well. The show looked awesome and hope to see it tomorrow while I'm waiting for it to cool down outside. I promised my Mom to get her front yard presentable to the city inspector from Moreno Valley. They've been harassing her since my stepfather passed away and the gardeners she hired didn't ever show up. I can't understand why their after her when there are 4 houses on the corner with no lawns, and even city land is not planted.

Well, I am hooked. Got the DVR set to catch future shows. There is some Hollywood as with any TV show but it is still entertaining.

I watched and thought it was very entertaining. Got me itchin for some back country. I think they pushed the Jeep a little harder than necessary, but with Jeep being a dominant sponsor, I am sure she gets looked over thoroughly after each episode and any necessary repairs are made before they move to the next location.

Overall, I enjoyed the show and look forward to the next episode.

As was stated, there was certainly a lot of editing but entertaining nonetheless. During the river crossing the shots kept alternating between ones with the winch control cable across the hood and shots without that cable.

IMO I think it was a good show. Its to bad though that Hummer isnt still around, so they could use it.

I think it was done well. I retired from video production and of course edited my own stuff before digital and computer editors. Alrock has an eye for detail and spotted some editing or continuity changes but then that is to be expected when you have a show to produce.
I did enjoy it. When I first watched it I was also googling the info about it and that cleared up what I thought was going on.
We won't see any Hummers doing that unless we produce it.
Clips of some of the best stuff people have posted all in one place would be fun though.
