This is why I hate the Prius.

Dude, you said Miami, nobody wants to be there but the Cubans! I asked if you want to be where I'm at in Florida, much different than Miami. Ok, so we joke about it being lower Alabama, but the beaches are nice and the crowds are much less. That and instead of Fruitcakes, we have Rednecks!

Exactly - that's why I pointed out I was in Miami.

That's all I can say!
I hate it every time I fill up, and someone asks how much gas does that thing guzzle? You get about 5 mpg or so???

I've never had a single person say a bad thing about my rig. Quite the opposite really. I get lots of guys asking if it's possible to get her stuck.

Excluding the angry forest gnome from Big Bear, I haven't gotten much negative feedback on my truck. Maybe because it's obvious that my truck goes off road (lot of scratches, antennas, lights, etc), but most of the time it's positive comments like "Cool truck!!" and of course lots of "what kind of mileage do you get in that thing".

The latter I take as a positive comment, I think lots of people don't see H1's very often and want to see it up close, talk about it etc.

I think the enviros should use a personal total carbon footprint score for each individual. In that case the fuel consumed to haul groceries to the lardass far outweigh any savings to her carbon footprint that driving a Prius gives her. Looks like she consumes more grub than your typical family of four. I also hear that cows produce more ozone damaging methane than all other sources combined. Given that her methane production would appear to pretty high also. I don't think I could have been as civil to her after the first 20-30 seconds as those people were. She would have had a very clear understanding of how I felt about her and her Prius before I left her in a cloud of diesel fumes.

Only time I had someone say a thing was in Indiana at a rest area off I-65. Large women in a Honda Insight yelled at me in front of the rest station for getting 10 miles to the gallon. I was nice at first and explained she didn't know what she was talking about, But it turned ugly when I told her that due to the enormous size of her belly she was not worried too much about the environment since her belly required more food in one day than would feed a family of four for a week. She actually tried to lay a patch of rubber with her insight, and at least six people were smiling when she tore out of the rest area.

Other than that, never had anyone say a damn thing.

Funny thing is I wonder if she knows how stupid she looks and is acting on You Tube.
