I am fine if you want to own a Prius to save on gas or because you think you will save money but don't think you are doing some huge favor to the environment by driving one! Driving a Prius 100,000 miles is worse for the environment then driving a HUMMER 300,000 miles! I just hate how ignorant people are for thinking just because they drive a Prius, they are doing something great for the environment. Also for the people that think owning a Prius is saving them money is dead wrong. The fact is there are non hybrid cars getting gas mileage as good as hybrids and can be purchased for a fraction of the cost of a Hybrid. Just my :2cents:

I recently saw something about the market share of hybrid cars and how it's declining. The article (I think I linked to it elsewhere on this forum) went on to quote a market research firm as saying that the Prius is the only hybrid car which market share is increasing (at the expense of other brand's hybrids no doubt) and that a lot of those who purchase Priuses drive them as an expression of their opinions and views and see the Prius as a badge of honor.

....I wonder what the idiot in this movie's reaction would have been if it had been an H1, or even better, a group of H1's idling our loud Diesels
