even if you do have a funny VIN.![]()
I have shipped many of these overseas, our biggest overseas market is probably South Africa, you guys really love H3's don't you!
Have you guys done any South African Alpha Models? I have one and Im considering doing a PCM tune in the near future, just wondering if you've done any?
Id like to also mention that those trucks come with a dual electric fan setup added to the engine clutch fan.
Kelley, do you all have a tune specifically for lifted H3s? More specifically, a lifted H3 Alpha?

I had a PCM from Kelly done for my 3.7, So i know there's no issues with there software and Vin numbers
I decided to go the HPTuner route for my V8, but will definately push on PCMofNC when I start tuning. once I have the HPTuner, I will download my stock info and send it to Kelly and they can perhaps analise it and see what variation there is between the SA V8 and the Alpha. there shouldn't be any difference in my mind though

Didn't you do a PCM tune after u've installed your headers and performance exhausts? If not and ur gona go this route, Im probably gona stand by and see until my warranty ends in november, which is gona be the time I do the tune. Also going to do it by HPTuners.
Nope, still running stock PCM settings with headers and exhaust. First bought the superchips thinking it would be nice to change between maps, but alas it doesn't work, so now I'm getting the HPTuner to manually play around, and also get the PCMofNC tune via e-mail to upload a bit later![]()
If it goes great for you ill be next in line for this!
Well I played around with the software already, and downloaded a stock V8 code to see whats what. just waiting for cable to be delivered so I can start with mine.
An interesting thing I noticed is that the 3-4 shift parameter is set to 8xxxRPM at full throtle. there's some really nice stuff you can change, but the possibility of making a stuff up is just as easy
any chance you could share those ratios? I'd like to at least try and get my speedo closer to accurate to compensate for these 35'sLike benlaud said, you can't change the tire size, but you can change gear ratios. I'm pretty close to spot on in my speedo just by trying the different ratios.
