Didn't see any pictures of the engine. Have them pop the hood and send you a photo. Lot of miles but low price. If you don't feel comfortable checking it out yourself take it to a dealer or Tustin and let them look it over for you. Might cost $100.00 but could save you a fortune. Seems to me they have the mileage priced in. Make your run at it and let us know how it turns out.

yea ive just briefly looked over it while i was down there a few weeks ago the only thing that scares me is the ghetto wiring some one did on the rear tv screens, you can see a giant switch on the dash that my guess turns them on and off. who knows what else the owner did too it then!

I believe you should wait for an Alpha! You're in the market right now, so try to get the best there is.

is it a 2007.5? because the driver side armrest will be different on the Newer erlier 2007 3.7s, Hummer changed the switches half way through the model year. I know I have one. also HP for the 3.5 is 220 verse the 242 3.7. I would go 3.7 2007.

Whats the deal with your dad and Hummers getting your but chewed. IT is a truly american made vehilce in the great state of Louisina motor and all.

Whats he driving and I bet its a Mexican/American Hybrid or Japanese/American Hybrid or even a German/American Hybrid or Canadian/American.

Sorry just referencing on your comment about your Dad, did not try to offend. I would jump on that 08 though.

Just so you know in the early days of Hummer there were some real Haters out there.

That's not a bad price. Looks clean, but no off-road package. But still.....
As for miles...it all depends on how it has been maintained....and used

And for some anecdotal info...the engine was not made in Shreveport where the H3 was assembled. It was manufactured by GM Powertrain in Tonawanda, NY. Shreveport was just a final assembly.

Never be afraid to walk away. There are more. I am surprised they let you out of the building if you made an offer. That is unusual.

yea i walked out of two dealers with no one chasing me down. Yet when i looked online the next day the price of one of the hummers i looked at dropped to the price i offered. the only thing stopping me from going back was the condition of the car and that it had an ere feeling to it (was in an un-claimed accident i think).

I knew it was somewhere in the US.

Gunny...some info on the H3...
Engines were all made in Tonawanda, but the auto trans could have been made in either Romulus MI, or Ramos Mexico. Manuals were made in Anjo City, Japan. Axle made by AAM were most likely made in the USA, same with B/W t/cases. My old Powertrain Application Master sheet only covers engine/transmissions so not sure about axles and t/cases.
