As many know, there are some GM parts from other makes/models that are compatible with the H3/H3T. In some cases, these compatible parts are cheaper without the "HUMMER tax". So if anyone has any, post them up here. I have a few. For example:

1) OEM Hummer H3 Factory Heater & A/C Air Temp Control Unit, GM Part #25920831. Over $225 retail from GM, not including shipping.
Compatible part - 2007 2008 2009 Pontiac Solstice Saturn Sky Climate Temperature Control A/C Heater, Part #15885077. $44.99 shipped on Ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-OEM-200...Control-AC-Heater-/370845981164#ht_725wt_1124

I offered $40.00 shipped and offer was accepted. I can confirm that this part works on the H3/H3T. Here are pics.

Yeah I just ordered myself one of those! I like the gloss black knob faces vs our H3's with the matte black knob faces. Not sure what a Pontiac or Saturn light up like vs our H3's but I'll probably mod it to be orange.

Have you tried installing it yet? The connector on my 3 for the "red" as it's labeled there, looks like it is not the same... I would love to change my for the gloss too.

Please say yes for $40 I want this!!

I know a few that I can add but don't have full details

Side door window switches are common with the Canyon/Colorado

Alpha alternator can be swapped out with one for an Avalanche (has higher amp rating too)

I recently had my HVAC control head out when I was installing LED's and it has the exact same pin config as the Pontiac/Saturn. I'll hopefully have mine by this weekend.

Oh ok, I thought it might of gave your oil pressure or something. I wonder why they never put a oil pressure gauge in our Hummers? I hate idiot lights.

I just compared pictures of the two, the ROUGE/RED socket is different. I did order one and got it yesterday.

Back in 2008, I kept losing power steering caps (lost three). I remember the dealership wanting to charge a big bundle and had to order it, so I drove down the street to the Chevy dealership and got one for half price for the Colorado. Actually fit more snug and never lost it again. Sorry, I don't recall prices or part numbers. It was some time ago.

Got my Saturn/Pontiac HVAC unit in today and the plugs are 100% exact fit like the H3 HVAC unit. The unit lights up orange (which is perfect for me!!!) If you want to keep your OEM knobs and light color then just open up the unit and swap the boards out. That way you'll have a new working board with the original H3 look. I like the gloss black knobs and the orange lights so it's perfect for me. Just wanted to post on this 100% compatible part at a much lower price. Unit was shipped well and arrived in just 3 days.

It looks orange but it's definitely a really crisp red. Its the same as the top picture I used the same LEDs and the setting selectors are illuminated on the Saturn's and it's just white on the Hummer's

Yeah I am very happy with the OEM Saturn/Pontiac Orange illumination. I think it blends in well with the rest of the dash. I also think the gloss black dials look cool and separate the actual knobs from the dial. I actually ordered another Saturn/Pontiac HVAC unit for 35.59 for my wife's H3 because she liked the orange illumination as well.
