LOL Skippy. Love your sense of humor. Reminds me of my mom's saying..."If you can't laugh at yourself, you can't laugh at anyone else"!

BTW, did you get that T-shirt from Alrock yet?

I bought mine from aurora lighting in china. They're more expensive than the lousy ones you find on eBay and many people are selling now. They are cheaper than rigid though. I have had no issues in the 3 years it's been on my roof. No discoloration or issues with the LEDs. They still send me updates of new products. They seem like a pretty big company. I've been to china and a few markets/malls there. Some things are absolute garbage but there are also many high quality items.

I have a 40" bar on mine that I got from .... hmmm... 5 star lights, an ebay seller. The paint is starting to fade (I put it on September 2013), but it still works excellent... the only thing I hate about them is their mount system - it's solid, but it makes for a taller profile

My Aurora LED after 7 months of use:

The housing shows no discoloration at all and there isn't a single issue with the lights. The weather has been very harsh (I live in the desert by the coast) so its very hot, dusty and humid here. I also park my truck in the sun.

I got my late ridges 40" and two 4" late 2012 and to this day they work 110% and look brand new. The four D2 mid last and same thing, on amzon I picked them up cheaper about $400 from MSRP. Some jokers say I'm crazy that I spent almost 2k for lights but seeing this I'm glad I did and no one can compare out on the trails with me at night. Sorry to hear how the lights are doing.

I paid 520 shipped for my 40" (direct from china), to be honest I was so convinced with the quality I put a 2000 USD order for more lights to use in my construction work!

I won't doubt rigids quality, but those come with 2 years warranty and are claimed to be military standards. So I could buy them 3 times over before hitting RI prices (not mentioning that in 2 years an LED bar could be cheaper/more advanced/more options)
