Brake replacement time.... What brands or style have you gone with and had good luck?

I'll give a plus 1 to the power stop brake setup. I've installed them earlier this year and boy do they stop!

Get EBC Green, they are unmatched. DO NOT get Yellow EBC, these are best suited to sport cars. You're looking for a semi metallic brake pad or organic, ceramic is horrible for towing / off-road.

I would have to disagree. I know for a fact that when towing my boat the ceramics were way better. Zero heat fade. My father in law has them on his 1 ton Duramax and tows a 35' trailer from So Cal to Oregon several time a year and swears by them too.

I made a mistake earlier, ceramic is for daily drivers wanting quite operation and no brake dust. Semi metallic for best performance. Organic is best in our application.
