Yep...rear locker and 4:1 t case gearing for adventures. 09-10 adventures also had a front locker.

Easy to have a homemade adventure package. I did that without any issue.

You added the t case and rear locker. Details please

I had the choice between the 5 speed and the automatic. Wish I went with the 5 speed.

I also pieced together and made made my base 3T into an adventure model...started with the rear locker, year later replaced the front aluminum diff with a new cast iron diff with locker, then completed my conversion a few months later with the 4:1 tcase. IMO, best mods I've made to my T and worth it to me but before you go and do the same, really assess and be honest about the frequency and type of wheeling you have done and intend to do. If it's mostly limited to driving down some zig-zag powerline dirt roads and splashing through mud holes 2 days out of the year, you really don't need to do these upgrades to do this type of "wheeling"

Yeah I only do local wheeling in mild spots with the occasional crawling. Hopefully I can attend some RC meets but my work schedule and school schedules limit me slot. 29 yrs old and going back to school suxs

The dealer called me today and said my H3 will be ready for pickup tomorrow. They were detailing it, and doing the final inspection when they noticed the Stability Control System wasn't working properly. They said they ordered the Yaw Sensor and that it will be installed tomorrow morning and the H3 will be ready by noon.

Is there anything I need to double check on the test drive to make sure the Stability Control is actually fixed? I trust them, but I'm going to be really upset if I trade in two perfectly good working vehicles for one with an issue lol.

let me make you feel better about not having the rear locker. it doesn't work in reverse - which really, really sucks when you're trying to pull a JK out going backwards (I ended up driving around him then pull him out from the front ). Get a detroit locker for the rear and an ARB (or even the GM electric locker) for the front - you'll be a lot happier.

If your locker doesn't work in reverse, it's broken.

The red with red cloth interior is rare. I think it may have been an '06/'07 only thing. Anyone know more about it?

Yeah my wife and I love the Red/Black interior! I honestly wish they'd have done something cool like that with the interior's of the Alpha's to make them that much more special.

I had some time today to give the new addition to my driveway a good once over. They had just replaced all the brake pads, and resurfaced the rotors, but I had one front brake pad pin about to fall out and jam against the rim. The little clips on the new brake pads were cheap and easily came off. I drilled out the pin holes slightly and installed cotter pins vs what the pads came with.

I also fixed a few interior trim parts like the glove box assist cord, and secured the jack inside the rear door with a new M8 1.25 bolt and fender washer. CV's axle seals, U-Joints, and even the front diff bushing is good for now. I am very impressed with the 33inch Goodyear Duratrac's! They ride really smooth, and the road noise is extremely low.

Very happy with it and my wife was totally thrilled to get it as an Anniversary gift!!!

They do for about 1/3rd of a tire rotation, then they re-lock. Likewise, when you go from reverse to drive they will unlock for the first 1/3rd rotation of the tires then re-lock. In other words, they unlock/relock whenever your tires switch direction of rotation.
