I have a 2009 H3T I just bought about 6 months ago, only 130k miles. It stopped going into 2nd and 4th gear, just goes from 1st to 3rd. Took it to the shop and they said the solenoids are working fine, they even actuated them with their tool while I was there and could hear them, they said the only other options is the 2/4 band is bad and it needs a full $3500 (minimum) rebuild.
Just looking for advice and to see if that is a reasonable price or if I should look at getting a rebuilt one and if that would be cheaper. I wished I could have at least paid it off before it broke.
I had been fixing small issues I found like the camshaft position sensor and the VVT solenoid as well as replacing the secondary air injection pump all in the last month or so. Then this happened.
