Yeah, if you think you need a 1600 SF shop build a 3200 SF shop. I now have over 4000 SF in shop space with 1000 SF being heated and air conditioned. I will be full but comfortable unless/until I buy something else. Lifts are space multipliers so I think I will go that route for awhile if I need more space.

Well, for me it was the year of the motorcycle. I sold my Ducati last year thinking I would be done with bikes. "Wandered" into a showroom this spring and found a 2024 Honda Rebel 1100 DCT marked down significantly as a prior year model. Bought it, rode it about 7000 miles in five months, then decided it wasn't the bike for me. Not enough power, suspension, gas range, luggage options. Sold it, bought a 2022 BMW R1250 RS. Has all the things I didn't have on the Honda and more. Definitely a street bike, you won't see it being recovered by Trailmater in Moab.

2025 has been interesting.

I passed the U.S. Army Drill Sergeant Academy, moved from Kansas to Georgia.

Spent what little time I have rebuilding the daily into something that is comfortable and mechanically reliable.

Rolling in to 2026, I will either be saving for a new (to me) Hummer project or a C6 Corvette (Z06 or ZR-1). I've always had a soft spot for the C6 but there's a few more Hummers I would like to collect and wheel too. Choices, choices.
