Windshield Washer Motor Gone Wild

So I start the H2 this morning and the washer fluid motor just starts going nuts and squirting fluid out the front and rear blades. The rear blade kept moving so I thought I had a sticky switch. After I played with the switch, the rear blade stopped, but not the washer fluid motor. Turn of the engine, turn it back on, same thing. We did get an extreme amount of rain last night (a couple of inches) so maybe something is shorting out? I didn't have time to troubleshoot so I drove the H3 to work, but I was wondering if anyone has had this issue on their H2.

More than likely it is the winshield wiper motor cover which comes with the circuit board. Pretty common. Have had it happen on mine, I replaced it. Have heard of some people taking it apart and drying it out then using silicone on it to reseal it.

Appears that it was a really easy fix. Apparently I left the fuse box cover off last time I was working on the H2. It was still sitting on the battery when I opened the hood. I had to drive through a lot of standing water last night to get home, so maybe I got some water in the fuse box. I started it up and everything seems fine now that it is dried out. :emb:

Wow, I read the title for this and thought I'd see pics of nekked wiper motors.........

Guess I'll keep Googling
Yeah, but you buy one video and you get sent dozens more. Not just wiper motors, but flashing high beams and jiggling bumpers.
