So my driver and passenger rear windows won't roll down and my back door won't unlock, I read a few things on it and all I can find is to replace the window switch regulator on the drivers door. Anyone ever have this problem or know if that'll fix it? I've already ordered the part

It's probably the switch. I've started having issues with my driver side rear window. The switch on the driver's door is starting to break, you have to pull up or push down really hard to get the switch to work, and it sticks when you pull it up. I'm either going to see if I can repair it, or just get another assembly if I can't.

The 2006 models had the master switch panel placed flat on the drivers-side arm rest...perfectly oriented so rain water falls right onto it and gets trapped under the buttons, (more genius GM engineering). Later models had the switch panel moved forward and placed at an angle so rain water would run out of it, instead of puddling. Also due to the placement of the switch panel...the 06 models can easily be accidentally locked by a dog or small child standing or leaning on the armrest.

That switch location was probably the source of more gripes than anything else in the H3. I hated it. If I were the OP, I'd see if the later door panel and switch assembly were interchangeable with the 06 and look for one from a wreck.

I don't see why they wouldn't be interchangeable. Pretty sure all they did was redesign the plastic panel. They wouldn't have changed the switches for a single model year, especially considering our window switches were originally from the 4 door Canyon/Colorado. They probably didn't even change the wiring harness length either, since the new location is actually slightly closer so the old harness would have been plenty long enough for the new position.

Yea the window just bugs me when I'm driving onto base and have to open my door the give the guard my ID not that big of a deal but I just moved apartment buildings and couldn't open the back hatch on my H3. Probably one of the most irritating moments owning this thing

Anyway I found a new switch for 92$ shipped and bought i could have probably gotten it cheaper from a part out but I just want it fixed

Was that an oem or Dorman switch? I've heard the really cheap ones are complete garbage (talking about the ones from china that are less than $50 normally).

Cool! Where'd you find OEM for that price? Everywhere else I've seen is asking ~$180 or so. The next cheapest to used is the one from Dorman for about $100-$110.

So this is still going on I've pulled door panels off re seated all connectors and replaced fuses I have no idea what is wrong but doors don't lock or unlock electrically and my driver window doesn't work. The problems happened together
