Volant intake?

Hey guys, I was wondering if anybody has the volant intake or has any reviews on it, my stock air box is broken and rattles all the time, and the clips broke, so instead of getting another stock box, I was thinking about the idea of the volant intake. It is water proof and comes with the power core filter., or is there anyother box that I could replace my stock box with? right now I have the air doc with the stock box Any input would be greatly appreciated thanks!

If I get the volant, I would sell the air doc, but I don't know if I want to spend the money to get one, I need some reviews and input lol

I don't know of any other complete box setups so it may just be OEM or Volant for you.

I know a lot of people were running the Volant intake a couple years ago before Air Doc went mainstream.

Yep I have the Volant and Donaldson Filter in my H3 and it works great. I originally had the K&N CAI but had problems with it being open & the K&N Metal pipe gets hot above the exhaust manifold. In the end I also bought an AIRDOC also, I cut off the end and repainted it in ceramic paint so that it wouldn't conduct the heat.

Have you priced a replacement factory box? I think the Volant is the closest to that but if you already have an Airdoc I'd look to replace the factory box first.

Ok thanks guys, and I haven't found a replacement box yet, I have to call the dealer to get a price. I like the look of the volant intake, and I don't need to remove anything to check the filter.

Looks like your 3 is an 09. You'll need part number 25940117, the only way to buy it is as an assembly. It will come with everything but the mass airflow sensor. No dealers in florida have it in stock. Retail on it is 176.64, if it helps sooth your mind any new oem filters retail at 43.10, and it comes with it.
