Upgraded the mobile HF setup

Wow, I've been remiss in my duties and not posted about my new mobile HF setup.

I did something stupid to my poor old Yeasu FT-100d so I had to either get it repaired or get something new. Repairing the FT-100d seemed pretty impractical given how old it is so I found a new ICOM IC-7000. The antenna was one I had borrowed from a fellow HAM so when he needed it back, I got a Little Tarheel II to go with the IC-7000.

So far, I'm loving the IC-7000 for it's good quality and good feature set. I will likely get the IC-7000 mic modified to improve the audio but that's about all I want to get done.

I may need to tag along sometime when you set that thing up on the hill.

What'd you do to your poor old 100D?
