Sorry about the lousy pics but I was driving into the sun. This thing looks like the color of that red metallic cellophane that you find wrapped around cheap flowers

I was waiting in Fletcher Jones showroom a few weeks back and a couple was buying the bright purple G Wagon on the showroom floor. It was awful looking.

Poor G Wagon. Those are really pretty awesome vehicles, grotesquely overpriced in the US though.

Well, it's not meant to be a rock crawler really. Just a high clearance offroad vehicle. So articulation isn't all that critical. If the rock/log/dead bodies will fit under you, why drive on them?

latest, greatest widget. funny thing, though, it doesn't get you any further down the trail - but it does cost you fuel economy and give you a lot more things to break.

When I was in the USMC I operated Mercedes IFAV, we tested on and off for three years. Beat the heck out of those rigs and they took it. Firing 50 cal. And mark 19 off the side of the bed. Don't know about the G series but appear to be similar to the IFAV. Dang ugly color though. Of course.......
