Trading old tires

I plan to trade my 35 inch Goodyear MT/R

4 tires with 2,500 miles
1 tire, Brand New

Can anyone tell me which store buy used tires? How much I can get?

Most shops wont give you much for them. A goodyear dealer may be your best bet. Please let me know what they offer you, I may match it and throw in a tank of gas. I dont mind storing a spare set of tires in my garage.

What are you planning on getting next?? And why do you want to replace them?? Is it the vibration issue you have??

Yeah I agree with Sinstr. Unless you are planning on buying some from the place you take them too, you probably wont get hardly anything.. How bout craigslist, or Ebay.. If you do Ebay, allow local pickup only.

Ebay, Craigslist. Not sure about a local dealer, dont think you could get much, but like everyone else said goodyear dealer might be your best bet.

Unless you trade them in at a Goodyear shop I doubt that they will give you anything for them. Goodyear might to try to keep you satisfied. Are you sure the vibration is a tire issue? Wheel out of round, balance, front end? Could be a tire running out on you.

I'm planning on getting H2. Replace them to get better ride quality before trading the H3.

Depends on where you live but according to tire rack $1485 for 5 new MT/R's

Yeah, now Tire Rack offers Special price recently, Normally, it is $310+ for a new tire. +shipping cost

There are reasons why H2 is more expensive than H3. I can't afford to get an H1.

When I bought my current 285's, Discount Tire gave me $35 a piece for my used 40,000 mile 265's. The spare had zero miles. 5 tires traded in at $35 each = $175 savings plus they matched the internet price on my 285's. When I got new tires for the sister-in-laws car, the tread was below their minimum, so no trade in price then.

With these being new and less than 3,000 miles, either Goodyear warranty due to tire defect or sell locally.
