the only thing with the rear bar is if you have a lift you do have to modify the bar because the spring shackle will get stuck on the bar.

I stayed with the OEM brush guard to keep the weight down (but fitted a FMR to fit the winch when I go offroad). ARB will tell you if you intend to mount a winch on it they recommend uprated Torsion Bars (which they also sell) to correct the extra weight. Also know for a fact the ARB bumper is designed & tested to ensure all the vehicle safety features are retained (Airbags, crumple zones, etc.)

I had the arb on my 09 5cyl wagon than swapped it to my alpha T and I didnt really notice a huge difference before and after personally.
