So who has built a storage drawer for the back trunk area of the H3. I'm thinking about trying to build something to accommodate some of my trail gear. I'd like to see some pics or resources for the sliding hardware and such. Thanks.

I keep a foot locker full of junk in the back. I've seen some nice drawer setups all decked out and carpeted. You might search some 2010 and earlier threads as I haven't seen any recently.

Guy I was wheeling with had one with two side by side drawers in his 4runner. I'm looking to make it with drawers 6-10" deep.

See if you can find someone in your area that sell retired police cars. Most police SUVs have a slick gun safe/storage unit in the back. Just a thought.

these are the two I'm looking at. One is the drawer storage and the other is a grill and refrig holder

Didn't the guy with the gray slantback H3T build a set of drawers and document it?

There are a few companies that make them, the heavy duty ones that are made for emergency and patrol vehicles are Havis, and another one that I have to look through my old paperwork and find the name, but they make them vehicle specific and with as many drawers and pop out working surfaces as you want. The bigger the more expensive of course, but the quality is incredible and can withstand some sever punishment... Just found the info, they are expensive but as heavy duty and safe as they get! The company is called Truck Vault. They make the storage drawer with all kinds of locking systems too, with ability to store weapons as well

Those are nice in nuggets truck. Wonder if he built or bought them. Doesn't really say in his write up. Or I'm blind [emoji23]
