Bought the H3 in April from a little old lady in Fullerton. Bone stock and in excellent shape. My devious plan was I wanted a new toy to take my son camping in and my daughter needed a car of her own. I win! She gets it as a daily driver and I get it on the weekends.
1. Only mods so far- factory grill off-road lights, Gibson cat back, K&N CAI, Pioneer AVIC-X940BT in dash nav, new Badlands rims, and Bilstein 5100 shocks.
2. Next mod- REMOVE THE DANG PASSLOCK!!!!!!!
3. Future mods- CI front diff, roof rack (Knight metal works??), Sliders (Schwarttzy??), front prerunner-light bar.
4. Distant mods after daughter is in college- lift kit/solid axle

Only 2 trips so far, one to Big Bear and one to Anza-Borrego last weekend.
It is at Performance 4 Wheel Drive in Bellflower looking at the TC issue.

rascole,
Welcome to the forum. You will fit right in here. BTW, nice rig!

I received your PM regarding the Scorpworks front diff crossmember (CM) and I spoke to Dwaine (Preferred Chassis owner) this morning. He said he will get in touch with you. To answer your question, I am one of the test guinea pigs for Scorpworks front diff bushing CM and am one of those who went from an original style CM to the newer style CM with the Scorpworks bushing fix and have had no issues whatsoever. In fact, the bushing still looks new and shows no sign of wear whatsoever.

Bigunit, that was one of the soon-to-be-mods I forgot to list. My bushing is almost gone. Look forward to hearing from him.

PCMforless.com can program the engine pcm to ignore the pass lock signal from the bcm. Some here do not like this but I got performance and no longer worry about random ignition lockouts from pass lock.

Welcome aboard. I always love to see new members with big aspirations for their trucks. Just proves the longevity these trucks will have.

Nice to see that there are a lot of you close by. I work in Carson and live in Bellflower. It has been 17 years since my last trip to the desert. Nasty near death accident at Dumont Dunes was too much for a pregnant wife so all toys were sold.

I think you will find that we are quite a safe group. We always work together to make sure everyone gets off the trail and home safely after every run. If a breakdown happens, we chip in where we can to either repair the truck or get it to pavement and wait for a tow truck.

From what I have read the past few months, this forum has better and courteous moderators/members. Another one not so much, too much personal bashing and off topic BS.

I will second that. The only reason I'm ONLY on this forum. The BEST moderators, the BEST members, all are VERY friendly and helpful.
