Shift fork!

Tore at the transfer case today. 6.5 hours total time with removal, and re install with changing differential fluid.

So there you have it... The transfer case is extremely easy to do. Just have to make sure your planetary gear is correctly installed with timing marks.

Anyone need one replaced?

Glad you got it fixed up, thanks for the pictures. What symptoms did you have that led you to the teardown?

Symptom was stuck in 4HI locked, and going in reverse would not let up and release.
