Got to pull some winch cable this weekend. I ordered a new toy and set it up this Saturday. My brother gave me some space in his facility to install a hoist to work on vehicles and fabricate stuff. Its a 9K capacity with extra height extensions so I can work on the taller rigs. Delivered to the shop for $2269 including shipping, pad extensions, concrete anchors and frame adapters. Its foriegn made but most are now. We hung a snatch block from the beam using the forklift and a man cage. It made it real easy to set up the towers without scratching them up. The floor turned out to be 8 inches thick so no worries there.
