Me and 7 others went to the off road expo in pomona, Ca today and it was a blast! Other then wheeling I am a total geek to new innovative products and saw a bunch at the expo today.
I finally met mel at off road evolution and saw Evo1. Spoke with currie enterprises and their axles, saw the IFS KOH winning car driven by shannon campbell, spoke with Jay @west coast differentials, I mentioned bebe and how I was the one who needed an axle and it all fell through (dont think he liked me much after he found that out.) Saw a lot of fabrication products, ruff stuff (the ones for my spring over stuff) and a **** ton more.
Their were two who stood out to me the most.
Strikeforcezebra, a company who is located in my town and goes one step further with tube doors.

These doors are badass. They offer full protection from the elements, they are ridiculously light and water tight, they are very durable (some type of strong plastic) you can slam the door on a rock and it keeps its shape and only leaves a scratch. The owner was very cool and is looking to make more doors for my off road vehicles. He was mentioning TJ's and Yj's but mentioned making em for an H3. They are pricey. $1300 for a set of 4 but I think they are badass. Recon may be interested in these, I may email him and if a few others show support I would love to get some going. Doubt we can but its worth a try.

My other favorite and most important item on the list for me are the metal cloak shocks.
I spoke with the owner, really cool guy and he can help me out with my application.
When I did the spring over the shocks are mounted up higher, My current rancho shocks give me about 1in of up travel and 9in of down travel and the leaf spring still has more downtravel to go but I cant fully use the available travel from the springs due to the shocks. The options were to leave it as is and just order a new shock with about 4in of uptravel and 6 on down, the cantilever setup for leaf spring and shock setups from ORE or cutting through the floor. I wouldnt wanna do either of those. This shock allows more travel without taking up the room. I plan on talking with him. He can tune them to my weight and I can adjust them a bit to dial it in.

I havent done any measuring of the max travel our stock springs can achieve but IIRC, brodie said a while back its about 11.75in. I gotta double check on that, while I can get 10 right now, why spend money on a nice set of fox's or kings and not get full travel out of the spring. Im gonna do some research but cool nonetheless.
