Had some more strange noises and put the truck on the lift. New bump stops will be in tomorrow (my right side extended ones are crumbling). Diff crossmember bushing has play and has a visible tear, but may have one more ride in her. Both front and rear diff are wet at the yoke. Guess its time for new seals.

May still hit the trail. Already PMd Scorp Works to get a new crossmember on the way.

I liked Ocala NF for what it's worth, but that's from the perspective of an outsider who had never had the chance to see the "real" Florida. It's a very scenic area and far different from the mouse ears and junk stores all around the tourist areas.

I am having the rear diff elocker actuator motor replaced tomorrrow and I should be good to go. The last time we wheeled hard rock, something must have grabbed the elocker cable on top of the rear diff and pulled it. The wires were borken completely off the actuator motor inside the diff. The parts are relatively cheap, but the labor is insane, 5 to 7 hours labor. I'll get the truck back tomorrow, but the biggest question is the weather on saturday with Isaac looming of the coast.

If you stay on the Forest Service Roads, its a nice drive through the ONF. It's only when you get on the smaller off the map trails where it gets really tight and I mean like a car wash full of nothing but tree branches for hundreds and hundreds of feet.
