Lovelady Hardware in Torrance, CA has a rather large bolt area with an awesome selection. Kinda feels like a small McMaster-Carr!

I buy thru one of several companies here and they run an open ticket during the day. So you need 5 or 6 of several things and it's a dollar or two. As opposed to having to buy per each prices at a box store for 25 to 35 cents a piece. Or like is often the case they package them like 3 to a pkg and of course you need 4!
If I need 10 or 12 I just buy a box, thus I have drawers full of left over hardware.
Tractor supply is close buy and they sell by the pound in loose hardware.

I have been working on an updated version of a "tater gun" I'm getting enough range to hit a car at the turn off from the main road.
I may have to convert to propane for more range.
I'm thinking a multi-barrel design like a Gatlin with a manifold for each with remote igniters might do the job.
Nuts in the taters might be effective on windshields.
