So I was surfing *very* randomly today and came upon the official website of North Korea.

I think it's really great they have a website. It provides really useful information such as:

  • Information on how to join the KFA (Korean Friendship Association) -Just give them your passport number and you are all set!
  • KFA members benefit from access to areas of the country normally closed off to regular tourists
  • FREE MUSIC! -Titles include "Song of General Kim Il Sung", "I Love My Motherland" and "Sunday of the General"
  • Proud reports of the manufacture of "foodstuffs" which apparently now include aromatic essences, and are considered better than the imports

Also, a news article described how workers who successfully launched a satellite were treated to a tour of the local corn starch factory..... (seriously.... this is true... I'm not making it up)

Wow.... just wow.....

and just today they announced that their next illegal nuclear test was aimed at America. What a great little country. Seems like we should maybe turn it into a glassed over parking lot for the South Koreans before the North Koreans do something really stupid.

WOW... this is awesome, they let them out of the testing facilities to see the sky and to see how their food is being produced.

A few years ago I went to south Korea and arrived in Seoul early in the morning. The difference between north Korea and south Korea from the air is striking. It's probably one of the few international borders one can spot from the air. If the people in the north only knew what the rest of the world was like.
