Super common. I called around and many places have it and if they ****ed up again when I go in tomorrow I will go elsewhere. For some reason the oriellys closest to me claims they have 17 feet on hand. They have zero. I doubt I need anything more then a foot. All the drag racing associations limit their rubber lines to a maximum of 1 foot for safety reasons and I plan to do the same...while I am no drag racer I like to keep the rubber lines down to a minimum. I have hard lines all the way up to each other. Just need to join the 2 and give it a tad bit of flexibility with the rubber line. I'm using the factory ends on the fuel rail from the envoy cut those down to the firewall then factory h3 lines from the gas tank forward, rebent them and cut them off by the firewall. Just need a little amount to join the two. Will flare the ends and do a double clamp on both sides.

Might start calling around to the performance shops. Might pay a little more, but they're much more likely to have the good stuff in stock.

make your own with AN fittings? the issue with stainless braided is, of course, they do eventually leak and you can't find the leak because the braiding conceals it... with that said, I've been there with the odd to odd connection, and found AN fittings have saved me a lot of grief - again, you know this, but for the rest... never buy chinese AN fittings, they simply are too hit and miss on quality to trust.

Reinstalled the shocks after I revalved them and after doing the bounce test I think these will be much better!

Sounds like it's going well I know it can get frustrating at times but Hopefully taking a break and going to Moab will giving you some more motivation with the truck and you'll just hit the ground running when you get back!

I am back and will probably start some work again tomorrow. Time to finish this son of a bitch up...Time is limited with my school/work schedule but going to moab was a good time to kick back and relax.

Maybe you already know this, but make sure rubber fuel line stock is ethanol resistant. SAE30R9 is good for 180 PSI and has an ethanol resistant lining.

I know my lines are rated for 225 psi, I will check on ethanol resistance

I checked and they are ethonal resistant. Yesterday was a good day on the BCM the plugs need to be swapped newer h3s probably don't need to swap the plug as GM changed them in later years but my 06 needed it so I had to cut and solder new wires to transfer over I'm almost done with that all I have left is 7 wires then exhaust

Can you elaborate on the bcm plugs?

I assume the bcm plugs are the one on the envoy harness, and those don't match to the 06 hummer bcm? Is the pinout different or are the connectors just different? If you keep track of your changes I can mark up a set of schematics for archiving if I can ever find time.

The connector themselves are different. I need to double check with Jamie but I believe GM changed them when they swapped over from 06 having a PCM/TCM together vs when they went to separate PCM and a seperate TCM. With that said if a 5cyl 08 did this swap their BCM connector may fit right in but I know the 06s do not.

there were 26 wires total, I'm down to 7. It's just time consuming and a lack of time to work on it. Since I have been home from moab I have had about 2 hours to work on it. Jamie has a compete list with pin outs and what wire goes where, he also labeled them for the new plug.

Some asked me the question of ditching that BCM harness and swapping it for a later year one and the answer is its too time consuming. You would have to remove EVERYTHING and even then a later model year may different in the harness plugs. This seems like the easiest way to do it.

Will get a few hours on it today and hope to finish the wiring that will leave me with exhaust!

OK so do I have this right. This is what you will run in the final configuration

PCM - envoy
BCM - stock 06 hummer
Harness - modified envoy

I assume if you had been able to send off both harnesses you would have gotten back a complete proper harness. Because you didn't send the hummer harness, you are having to do some of that yourself.

yea, that is correct, and the PCM/TCM is from an envoy but running H3 alpha base maps..I spoke to Jamie about removing the BCM harness would have required me to literally pull apart the entire interior including the dash to ship that out.
