The reason the Air Force, Army, Navy and Marines bicker amongst themselves is that they dont speak the same language.
For instance, take the simple phrase "secure the building".
The Army will post guards around the place.
The Navy will turn out the lights and lock the doors.
The Marines will kill everybody inside and set up a headquarters.
The Air Force will take out a 5 year lease with an option to buy.

There are really only 2 branches of the military, the Army and the Navy. The Air Force is a corporation, and the Marines are a cult.

You know before I join the Army I went to see a Marine recruiter and it went a little like this.

recruiter "Son you want to join my Corp huh?"
me(18) "I want to see if I have what it takes"
recruiter "OK lets start with a small test"
me "Sure I'm game"
recruiter=sticks his right hand in my face "pick a finger"
me "OK?" I pick the middle one
recruiter=shakes his hand like hell and then puts his hand back in front of my face "pick the same finger"
me=I pick the middle one again
recruiter "Sorry son your to smart to join" :wink:

No but really they are great and we all give each other S%$ all the time. You should hear some of the jokes about NCO's and Officers.

One more that's a classic

Three Service Members in a latrine side-by-side. Air Force on the left Army middle and Marine on the right, the Marine finish up then checks his uniform in the mirror and walks out. The Air Force SM leans over to the Army SM and whispers "in our BCT they train us to wash our hands when we are done in the latrine" the Army SM thinks to himself and then says "in the real BCT they train us to not piss on our hands" :giggle:

I'm sorry but that funny as hell but it's all in fun and I don't think anyone is better then the other, we have our duties and fulfill them and more everyday.

Marines are brainless tools I also went into the marines recruiting office 17 at the time...he got so melancholic and began singing some marine stuffs that was the moment went I decided marines were nothing but tools, .plus not to mention back in 09 I wasn't warranty I would be infantryman if I was to join the marines... so I went army...best choice I ever made...deployed a month after basic and no **** there was scared to **** Pfc Torres gunning and patrolling and clearing out villages for a year...good old days...and mean no disrespect to the brothers marines...just good old brother love hate comments.
