My life before HUMMER---

I've been in the garage this week organizing and setting up the stereo surround and was finally able to hang the Chrysler banner from our life before HUMMER.
The banner was hanging in this spot (we moved back in the house and it's now back in the same spot, unrolled for the first time in over 5 years) before we moved out of the house over when we had the "Hemi" and 300's were brand new.
This is the 2005 "Car of the Year" I got from the dealer when I had the car in for service, it was just rolled up on top of the coke machine so I asked if I could have it. I took it down when we moved and was finally able to get it hung again.
Funny thing about the 300 is both the wife and I weren't sold on it's styling before we bought it, but one trip to the dealer to actually see what the car offered for the money and we were sold. The grill looked like it belonged on a truck, but it was functionally serving the huge radiator for the Hemi.
After two accidents in that car and only 27K on the clock, the new was worn off and we decided to trade it for the 3 to have something better suited for the Utah winters. And the rest is history!

The really observant might see some HUMMER parts laying around in these pics!

Nice garage there Mr. Twinmill! ...but that life before HUMMER story doesn't explain your affinity for all the the shiny, bling stuff on your H2! :)

I figured some of the Chrysler guys would want something like this if they saw it. I found one on EBay a couple months ago and they wanted $130 for it, it didn't sell.

I did finally get out the hard drive from under the couch and found a picture when the Hemi was new, there's a little bit o' bling on it for ya Biggie---

Are those H3 tie-rods you borrowed from me in there somewhere?

Thanks for looking.

No, I don't need to look. I left them in Utah with my buddy who was either supposed to get them back to you or hand them over to Desert to give to you.
I brought them with me for the last get together Desert, me, Del and a few other guys did that you didn't make. I was really looking forward to getting this monkey off my back.
Before I left Utah, I triple checked your phone number with John to make sure I was calling the right number but never got a call back to get 'em over to your house.
I was even up the road from you one day and tried giving a few calls while I had lunch since I couldn't remember how to wind my way back in there, but never got a call back after leaving a few messages.
Shoot me a PM and I'll mail them to you, or we can keep playing the "you've got my tie rods and I'm not ever available to take them back game".
Once again, thanks for helping me out.

1991 Chrysler Daytona original with 70K miles on the clock. It's my wife's "hot rod", or her idea of one from when she bought it brand new back in 91.
It's got the base 4-banger w/auto and had hubcaps up til a couple weeks ago when I did the brakes and realized it looked better without them. Runs like a top and gets alot of attention from the Daytona geeks when she has it out. It's not my bag, and I've voiced my opinion on it. But it is a novelty to me, I call it "the Bright Blue Go-Kart".

Twin, your PM was more polite than what you posted publicly. I could post my perspective publicly too. I don't think you want me to do that.

Maybe you could give me the guy who has em's phone number on PM, so I could call him myself and try to get them back.
