My Daughter Resued Another Horse

My 13 year old daughter works with a horse rescue and this is a link to her personal horse "for keeps", his name is Aladin She is 13 and har name is Anna, pretty cute story really. Anna's horse licks the camera at the end.

What's the average cost for vet/food/care for a horse these days? 12-15,000$ a year? I guess it depends if you have the facilities at home to keep/feed them.

Was looking at some property out in Aqua Dolce area and some had stables, a fenced pasture and a gravel road for a semi truck to load/offload at the rear.

We pay $225 month/horse at the stable and about another $100 month/horse for suplemental feed and vet bills. So about $4,000 year/horse isn't too bad. Her life consists of school/volleyball/horse where it could be just as easily school/volleyball/shopping at the mall. Makes the horse a great deal.

My daughter and I made a deal, if she can get a full ride to a college I will make sure her horse is boarded where ever she is in the country. I will be the winner in the long run.
