Easy enough. Have him look at the placard on the side of the tongue and tell you how much it weights.
If it not there, it should be Somewhere on the trailer

That's way to heavy for a H3,if it wasn't ,it would already be in my pole building . That is a fantastic price and a short drive.

Look for an m416. I just picked one up this weekend for 460 bucks. I need to put some work into it, but its perfect! You cant even tell you're pulling it.

Sure, its in the for sale section. I have another that I added sides too for mostly utility and landscaping.

Here are some pics.

I like the m416 trailer with out a doubt if I had my samurai. If im going to pull a trailer now might as well justify it. 1 ton capactity, but actually super smooth offroad. I already grabbbed a bunch of rocks while offroad for my backyard waterfall. :)

I vote for the m416, or possibly an older civilian version. I made my trailer from a 1950s-era "bantam" trailer. It's slightly larger than the 416....but much less weight. If you plan to off-road it...you need to keep the weight and COG such that you can disconnect it and walk it around by hand. Trailers and tight trails do not mix and it's nice to have this ability. More than once I've gotten all jacked around with no way out of a trail, so I welded some handles on the tongue to make it easy to maneuver. Not sure on the weight....prolly around 700.

Thanks for the info. I am still searching around with no luck. Best I found was a aluminum m1102 dry weight is around 1400lbs. I am waiting to see if I find something lighter and more affordable.

Problem now is the gov pulled most everything from auction with no reason. Lots of theories, but no more trucks and trailers for awhile.
