Memorial Day Weekend - what are your plans?

I'm heading down to Tucson to hang out with Bigunit while Cotilo is out of town. I already promised Cotilo that Bigunit and I will be recreating "Risky Business" this weekend. We just need to source a Porsche, a big crystal egg and Guido the Killer Pimp.

Hopefully we get to meet up with PreferredChassisFab and see how things are going in his shop.

This weekend my family from ny is here. Aunts, uncles, cousins etc. There here for my brothers graduation. Its fun having 16 loud new yorkers living in one house.

just delivered Slickrock a hundred bundles . canyonlands and arches are all set for the weekend . i need some pinon for a residential customer next month so might head out past La Sal and do some cutting . i took care of the sweat lodge last weekend but that took just about all the pinon i had cut the weekend before . also have 2 more log truck loads coming this weekend that will be dropped out at my staging area in Spanish Valley . i have about 80 cords of Ponderosa in inventory , it just needs to get blocked out and split .

Chris, I'm about 100 miles from Luis so it's not a bad drive at all. I've actually gone down there just for dinner before

No Hummer weekend for me. Range rifle drills both Saturday and Sunday. During my down time I'm going to contemplate on how lucky I am to live free, thanks to the guys that risk their lives for us.

Will be elbow deep in the truck all day Saturday putting on an aftermarket oil cooler, swapping out oil in the transfer case and front diff, the glowplug system, the vacuum pulley, new rear shocks, put new gauges on, and possibly looking at the steering while I've got the front end torn apart. Measuring for future upgrades will happen. Might even swap the tranny fluid if I have time and get a wild hair. That'll be the start of a build thread.

If all goes well, I'll be loading the truck up for some BLM camping Sunday/Monday. At some point when I'm out there, I'll have a moment of silent thanks.

Heading to Manistee Forrest on Sunday to check it out. Then cleaning and polishing all three for 2 memorial day parades that HERT will be a part of.

Probably attend a wounded warrior event Sunday, shooting on Monday.

Drive around and look at all of the motorcycles in town for rolling thunder tomorrow

Dad had a heart attack on Monday so have been down in Ohio. He had a pacemaker put in, and just got home last night. So now I get to go home, which after a week I am ready.

I'm going to go run Spring creek, as we can finally make it to the top, did it once before & took a solid beating, between more experience, more lift, and WAY more flex, I'm stoked to try it again today!

After that... hanging out with my awesome wife & my 8 day old son... it's gonna be a good weekend!
