Making documents with an iPad ????

Hello all, I was wondering if anybody here uses their iPad to create and or edit documents in a PDF file ? I have forms I have to fill out at work and I have them on a flash drive but I recently purchased an iPad so I am wanting to use the iPad to do the same because I want to be able to do my paperwork in my car instead of going to the PD (we still don't have toughbooks in our cars). I have been looking at a lot of different apps but I'd rather not par $10-$20 on an app thats not going to do what i need it to do, so if anybody here can point me in the right direction of a good app then I'd greatly appreciate your help. Do you have a full version of Adobe available some where at the office? if so you can convert any PDF into a form & there are other cheaper alternatives out there just not sure how they would work on an Ipad

Yeah I have all my forms in Adobe PDF, now I'm looking for an app that I can use to fill in all the blanks on the forms I already have. Basically I'd like to find an app that will take a PDF file form from a flash drive and let me just fill in the blanks (like you would on a PC or laptop) and then print it or email it all from my iPad. Does that make sense ? That way I can fill out forms from my patrol car and have it neat and typed out instead of hand written.
