M1008 what do you guys think?

I always liked the CUCV's there nice, a couple of my friends have them, and this one is s a nice looking truck! If I was going to get a military truck I would go for the m35a2

Yeah CUCV's are kind of a poor mans HMMWV but that makes it alot easier to leave on the trail if sh!t happens, lol. I am always looking for a good deal on a "bobbed" duece but the trails out here are all too narrow to really use one...I have a buddy that has a half track but only uses it for the Armed forces day thing they do at Aberdean proving grounds. Awesome event BTW

M1008s are great. so are the M1009s but there are some difference besides body style. in case you're also looking at M1009s here are some key differences

M1008 has Dana 60 up front versus Dana 44 for M1009
M1008 has one ton chassis (rated 5/4 ton for Military but I've read threads on forums that they are no different than one ton chassis offered as K30 to civilians) versus 1/2 ton chassis for M1009

I would get familiar with the 6.2 engine. what to look for, etc.
