On saturday at Last Chance Canyon I punctured my 2 week old <1000 mile tire on a damn rock. I was kinda pist seeing I kept holding off on tires and I finally bought new ones and within a few weeks I get a puncture. This was also my first tire I ever lost, on the trail or road. Anyways, I go to the tire place and tell em what happened. I told em the truth and how I was wheeling but the tire is 2 weeks old. He asked if I had road hazard warranty, which I did not. He never asked me if I wanted it and I never asked to buy it, either way he was able to get goodyear to give me a new duratrac at 50% off. I was thrilled. They will defintely have my business when I leave the duratracs for a new set. I want their MT/R's...
What's also cool is that I saw a 35in KM2 on beadlocks, from a distance it looked like a fake beadlock but I asked Mel, the guy in charge, if those are real or fake. They were in fact real and asked him about doing beadlocks and he said normally we dont em but for me and my brother he will install em. I guess recommending friends that buy offroad tires to him and buying about 14 tires between my brother and I in the past two years has paid off. I kind of always put beadlocks off my list due to the hassle but seeing he will do it and lives 5 minutes down the road I really wanna go with some now
