My shift went together and watched this movie tonight and it is by far the best "cop" movie I have ever seen. It shows and tells A LOT of the truth about patrol level police work and the way they filmed it made it ten times better. I highly suggest watching it to all LEO's and even non law enforcement personnel.

When I watched it, it definitely showed a true depiction of the police brotherhood. It really hits home since I have lost fellow brothers/LEO's

I can't wait to watch it.. A few of my LEO brothers are going missing tomorrow afternoon so it sounds like a good way to end the night watching the movie!!

Saw it yesterday & liked it, but as usual I think it's got too much of the "Hollywood" run & gun stuff in it. Way too many people watch COPS & Law & order, personaly I've always loved Adam12, Southland and Colors(which to me this seems to be a remake of). As for movies David Ayer has been part of some good LAPD movies & not w/ them in the best light but I think he shows the reality fair on both sides of fence & I've stolen a few good lines (thanks Denzel) that seem to work

He's from the Rampart area & has been using an old school ex LAPD officer as a tech advisor & extra, FitzSimons (little google search shows him to be no angel http://www.metnews.com/articles/badg082202.htm) so I do think they get the down & dirty gritty side of it, just don't think he can keep running with that after this one :deadhin newest order; End of Watch, Street Kings, SWAT, Dark Blue & Training Day).
