Keyless Remote Mechanism

Hey everyone, so I recently bought a replacement case for my keyless remote because the plastic loop that holds it onto the keychain broke. The old mech. worked perfectly fine before I switched it to the new case, but now it doesn't work in either the new or the old casing:confused:?! The battery reads 3.0-3.1 volts on my voltmeter, so I'm pretty sure that's not the problem. All of the connections seem to be intact and clean. If anyone has ANY suggestions, (besides taking it to the shop or buying a completely new mech.) it would be a huge help!

Thanks in advanced!

Yep, I'm an idiot. No, I didn't have the battery backwards. However I did notice that the battery seemed to be lying very low in the housing. Put a little piece of paper underneath it to keep it raised up, and AL-A-KAZAM!!! We know what time it is...

Glad you figured it out. I had to adjust the contacts for the panic button as it was going off too easily.
