OK, I am getting this obnoxious sound from my window trim and I tracked it to the top of the window trim. Is there any way to at least make it quiet for a little bit? I will replace it later but I cant do it right now. My wife just bought me this toy (truck), then paid 1000.00 for a fuel pump install. on top of that she is letting me get my new tires KM2 and a Jensen Nav unit as well as my brush guard. After all that I really don't want to say by the way my window trim sounds like a Kazoo on the freeway I need new window trim! MY wife rocks but I am not wanting to push her patience!! lol!! trim.jpg

Pretty sure I need the A pillar trim and the trim on top that it connects too to get it to stop I'm lucky enough to need it on both sides. I really like that wood dash panel there peep!

I lifted it from the windshield, injected as much clear silicon rtv as I could along the seal edge and put it back in place. No more noise.

Looks like I will be doing the silicone fix as well from what I was able to find it seems that was how GM fixed the issue as well. Peep are you using the clamps to hold it in place while the silicone dries? Thanks to everyone for their input!! I think this is pretty much the only active Hummer forum and I am glad I joined here!

I'm getting a rattling sound again on mine after installing the light bar, where do you guys put the silicone? I was just going to lather it up on the inside and go with it

I put silicon along the edge that touches the windshield, on the inside. I also filled the gap up top where the factory lights would be if you had the roof off road lights. Big gap near the top of windshield and up top. You don't have to pull pillar cover. Just use the silicon applicator tip under the rubber. Also plan on using almost a tube on each side. Can clean off windshield with razor.

I put mine on the area where the Plastic hits the window, from the top down. One should be enough for that, the only time I get more, is if I got to take the Plastic back off. Then I used the corner of a credit card to make it look nice, the first time, second I didn't care since I know I'm taking them back off so I used my finger. Have yet to have any noise and it's been a year or so
