Some people just don't know what metals some things are made of; I can testify they are NOT titanium as they crack open like a walnut under the right conditions!

Also, they are not "Special Edition" or "Limited Edition" as the ad states, they were a dealer offered item (for a price)

The slide onto the rock rails with pins then there is the threaded knob you use to secure each step. I always tell people to throw those knobs in a drawer and go buy some grade 8 auto bolts and slather the hell out of them with loctite. U-steps are high dollar and hard to come by anymore. With only one knob to remove them I can see how they would easily walk away.

I agree. I like the knob so you can remove them with no tools but they are super easy to steal. And my u-steps are heavy, if they were titanium they would be super light.
