Hi All- new owner from Ohio. Just picked up a Slate H3. New to Hummers but not to 4x4s. Owned all kinds of stuff in the past from Suzuki Samaurais to Ford Explorers to Rangers, etc... Loving the H3 so far.

Don't mind me, I'll be lurking for a while absorbing and learning :)

Thanks all! I love the slate color as well. I need some weathertech mats as the carpet is starting to pill a bit, I cannot even imagine what winter will bring to the floor. :) at least thats the excuse I'm using. 315's coming soon and I gotta figure out something with those step bars. Don't love 'em, but the truck looks weird (kinda naked) without them (took them off for a couple of weeks). I'm thinking the best middle ground is sliders :) :)

And what I wouldn't give for a Gobi rack and the rear ladder. But holy $$$$ batman. 'cuz I gotta also decide between T-bar crank or Rancho 4". Rancho is $$ and then I'd have to get new wheels to boot.

Decisions, decisions.

Welcome from So Cal, t bar crank is great and one of the best tweeks for free you can do. Just remember the alignment soon after! Suggest 1/2" extended bump stops and you might consider 1" body lift. This will only cost you $250-$300 for a whole new height that will handle 325 tires. Ride is really good and I prefer it over stock settings. May think about shocks too depending on miles on old ones. Some say yes to new in front due to t bar crank but I think it is not needed (I got new bilsteins all around for $350 and love them). Beautiful color H3! Have fun with it[emoji1]
