The tube/grommet is in the area of the rear seat belt upper shoulder support. You need to remove the big plastic panel which surrounds the rear window. Actually you only need to remove the front portion of that big plastic panel so you can get your hand in there to access the tube & grommet. You can leave the rear half of the plastic panel in place.

What I did was remove the upper seat belt bolt, then a screw or two, pull off part of the door gasket. Then pull out on the plastic panel behind the rear door (the front half). You might need to put the rear seat (back) down... in order to pull the plastic away. Like I say, I was able to get at them by simply pulling the front part of the plastic away so I could get my hand in there.

The rear grommets don't have the 'fingers' in them...so they rarely clog up. But The grommet 'can' pull out of the hole. Make sure you have it in securely before putting the plastic window surround back on.

Also, I can't remember if I needed to unbolt the rear (upper) seat back too ...to pull out the plastic window surround. Something in the back of my brain tells me I had to. But I don't remember 100%. Maybe there's a youtube video on the rear drains. Either way, it's not difficult to unbolt the rear (upper) seat back.

Also, that big plastic rear panel, has metal clips. I found just pulling outward and wiggling at the same time the clips come out pretty easy w/o breaking. The wiggling helps release them. I've had my entire H3's interior out 3 times...LOL including carpet and headliner (not the dash). It actually comes apart really easily once ya do it.

You might try parking your H3 uphill and pour some water into the rear drains. If they aren't backing up, then you probably don't need to mess with them and saved yourself some work. They're fully open tubes on mine (no fingers to clog).

One other suggestion: If you get a length of thin metal cable at the hardware store (also known as Wire Rope) small stuff like 3/32" (2.3mm). Thin cable (~8' long), that will be flexible. Put some tape over the tip so it's not sharp and won't 'catch'. Then thread it down the drain tube WHILE POURING HOT SOAPY WATER DOWN the hole....that will clean out the drain. Unless the tube is really plugged with hard-packed dirt, it should clean up.

The fronts you almost have to remove the grommet, because they can back up a few inches with packed in dust/dirt ..which I'm sure you know. But the rears you could probably check/clean that way and save you some time.
