Long time with no posts, but I've had my truck for 14 years now and now finally seems like the right time to install long tube headers.... 5 years after most vendors sold out and stopped carrying headers of course.
There is 1 vendor carrying Dynatech headers - BOLO motorsports for a steep $2100 for the full kit with cats. Even the Dynatech site doesn't show these headers any longer. I'm curious if anyone had purchased headers in the past 2-3 years and have any suggestions? My other concern with this site is that it shows they fit the half ton series GM's and the H2 which seems somewhat suspicious given the frame and mounting differences, that and the driver side crossing over under the transmission does not have the flat area to prevent it from hitting the skid cover.
I'm regeared to 4.56 but just went up from my tiny 37x12.5 KO2s to a much more true 37x13.5 Cooper STT Pro, the gearing improvement is almost unnoticeable now. Rather increase my power than re-gear again - though to be honest $2,100 for pipes is the exact same I paid for my gears/labor.
