I remember a little something about a 1939-1940 Winter War between Finland and Russia? I believe that the Finns beat the Russians back some 26 miles from their shared border before the peace agreement that reset the border to its current location. In fact, Finland used to be part of Russia until that little thing in 1917 happened. Finland does have shipping ports, so I can see the parts leaving from there depending on where they are originating from in Russia.
