That's why I avoid mud like the plague. That crap gets in every nook and cranny, and it's almost impossible to clean it all out. Then I inevitably end up under my truck working on something, and having dust and bits of mud fall in my face and eyes I hate mud!

This day of playing in the mud resulted in:
$40 worth of car wash
1 broken diff crossmember
1 broken motor mount
1 final failure of cracked transfer case (didn't know about crack before this)
I don't have video as my SD card also failed that day :fan

I dont know why most people have had such bad luck with the mud. I have a few jeep buddies who have had carnage like alex...I never damaged anything in the mud. Its the damn rocks!

I know a guy who went mudding in his jimmy, got stuck and melted all of the motor mounts off and then engine literally dropped. I think a lot of the damage comes from the mud not allowing things to cool off properly.

We've never had any problem with mud. I just think its a pain to clean. Some chances I get Ill go through a mud puddle, but others, most likely not.
